HELLO
I'm Megan, a photographer based in central Iowa. I wan't to tell you a bit about who I am, and why I do what I do.
Growing up I never thought about being a photographer. I never really thought about what profession I wanted to have at all, I just knew I wanted to be happy. I refused to force myself into a zombie like life of 9-5s, and money being the drive of all happiness. Instead, I focused on what inspired me.
Imagery. Thats what inspires me. Even from a young age I admired the images I came across in books and magazines. It amazed me that a simple photograph made me feel emotion. Wether it brought tears to my eyes or warmth to my heart, it was beautiful. Once I realized I could could capture my own moments, I picked up a camera and never put it down.
I am currently 22 years old and I have seen the world. I love to travel and explore new places. I love a cup of coffee in the morning and the beauty of art in any form. I love my goofy, hard working, passionate boyfriend Derek. I have been blessed with the most amazing clients and I love building a relationship with them. There is nothing sweeter to me than capturing a new born session when I once captured mom and dad saying "I Do". Or capturing that sweet baby turning 2 years old. And so much more. My business is 100% driven by my passion and I wouldn't want it any other way.
To put it simply, I do what I do because I love it. Not for the money, not for the audience, but because it is my passion. I'm here to deliver an experience. Imagery you can feel. And moments that will last a lifetime.

FAQ
What is your booking process?First thing first I love to make sure you're choosing the best package for you. Once we've had time to get to know each other and choose the best option I will create a portal for us to share. In this portal you will find your contract and deposit invoice to be completed in order to be on my calendar. After that your portal will have access to style guides, location guides, a fun questionnaire, and other resources for our time together.
When can i expect my final gallery returned?
Wedding galleries usually take me around 4-6 weeks, but of course my goal is to return your images ASAP. That being said I will will update you as time goes so you have a better idea. All other sessions take roughly 2-3 weeks!
How much is the deposit and is it refundable?
Wedding deposits are 35% of the total price. Due to my policy they are non-refundable.
Do you have payment plans available?
Yes!! Payment plans are available upon request.
How will I receive my images?
All images will be returned on an online gallery where you will have access to high-resolution downloads. Printing rights are included in all packages.

Don't worry - I have an in depth style guide with all you need to know!
What services do you offer?
Right now I offer weddings, destination weddings, elopements, engagement/couple sessions, maternity, boudoir, minimalist newborn, branding, and intentional portraits. I also offer mini sessions at a discounted rate for my previous wedding clients!
How long have you been a photographer?
I have been practicing photography for 7 years now! I started shooting for others when I was 16. I have been shooting weddings on my own for the past 5 years :)
